Information Technology Tutorials for Students and Teachers
Networks to Knowledge (N2K) is an important new tool developed to help learners of all ages understand the fundamentals of communicating in a technology dependent world. N2K is not about technology. It’s about how people use technology.
N2K contains a curriculum that has been created using an innovative distributed content development model. Students, teachers and industry professionals have built these core learning modules using a collaborative ‘wiki’ environment. This way, the curriculum will stay relevant, by users such as yourself, adding, editing and expanding to the resources.
N2K depends on its users to share their knowledge, resources and expertise with the wider audience using these resources. Built in the spirit of the ‘open-source’ development community, we encourage you to contribute to it’s ongoing creation.
How N2K works:
The current ‘packaged’ version of N2K is maintained here at Nortel LearniT's main web site. The fluid ‘wiki’ version of the content is available via Nortel LearniTs wiki here. As you become familiar with this offering we encourage you to register to participate in contributing to N2K.
Note: This curriculum is in contuining development - your contributions are invited! You will observe that some placeholders are created for content to be provided. Those inputs and others are welcome.
