Are you hosting a Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work (TODSTW) event and looking for ideas on what to do? Well, we're here to help!  Nortel LearniT has worked closely with Nortel TODSTW organizers to support these fun, effective and cohesive initiatives.  As seen in the faces of the young people shown on the left, a Nortel LearniT technology-infused visit to a Nortel campus is an exciting event!  See TODSTW in action in the Showcase of Nortel LearniT TODSTW events . 

Here we centralize information, sample agendas, and tried-and-true engaging activities of various types and lengths--tailored to work well with the young visitors to work environments:   

• See sample events and detailed daylong schedule
• Engage them with the Nortel LearniT History of Communication PowerPoint presentation--pre-packaged and ready to roll 
• Provide Career Tips and/or view Nortel LearniT Career Bytes videos (5-minute, student-produced segments highlighting tech careers and tips)
• Lead them on a Digital Safari
• Learn about Cybersafety
• Games and Activities Resource Center (the games themselves(!) with guidance on use): ranging from a Scavenger Hunt to Online Survival Game to Online Safety Jeopardy
• Nortel LearniT JeopardyiT: Nortel LearniT provides users with our very own Jeopardy game. The game is educational as well as a fun experience
• Have them create their own video public service announcement by watching this video 
• To announce and publicize your event, you might tailor this sample flyer (front and back)
