Communication Technology Presentation and Presenter Instructions
This Connecting with Communication Technology multimedia PowerPoint slide presentation can be used:
- in almost any class that invites professionals to discuss communication-related topics or careers and/or
- to educate on communications history itself.
It is intended to build awareness of the impact of technology on communications and how that affects our daily lives, including our work. You can go to the level of detail with which YOU are comfortable and/or expand upon certain areas of expertise that interest you and your group, as desired.
The presentation package includes detailed presenter notes* on each facet of communication described in the slides.
*The notes include background on Key Points and Main Ideas, Dates, communication Mechanics/methodologies, etc. (To access in Presentation: View\Notes)
IMPORTANT: 4 Streamlined Steps to play the Connecting with Communication Technology PowerPoint presentation (complete with audio and video):
- Create a separate folder on your computer named Connecting with Communication Technology
- Download the attached zip file to that folder (it may take a few minutes as it is resource rich)
- Unzip the file into the folder
- Open the PowerPoint file and all of the assets will work!
IMPORTANT NOTE: A folder with all of these resources, unzipped, MUST be on the computer used to make the presentation, and the presenter must use the Connecting with Communication Technology PowerPoint file in that folder as the presentation file in order for all audio and video functionality to work.
