Using Tabs and Other Browser Options

We open new pages for you when you click a link to display new information.  For more on how this works, see: Working with multiple web pages and tabs in your Internet browser.  We are optimized for use with the Firefox (Mozilla) browser because it is the browser which best enables you to open and download Internet-provided documents and PDFs).  Or use IE7 or above.

Firefox2 opens new web pages in tabs for you by default.  Each tab has its own close button.  If you accidentally close a tab, go to the History menu's "Recently closed tabs" to find it.  If more tabs are open than fit in a single window, scroll arrows appear on either side, plus a button on the right--clicking the arrows or the button presents a list of all open tabs.firefoxtabs2
IE7 provides a Quick Tabs feature (or use ALT plus Q) to display and navigate your open pages and tabs.ietabs
