These resources illuminate the essence of the constructivist learning model allowing students to build learning on top of existing learning in a hands-on, mind-engaged way.

The educational E's (and an S for Standards) are: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate, and Extend.

  • Nortel LearniT Lesson Plan Builder - Access by clicking Login in the upper left of http://www.nortellearnit.org/. On the User Management page, enter your log-in information and proceed to the Lesson Plan Builder.  You will need to register to use this tool.

    • After successful log in, click the link "Submit your own lesson plans" to open the Lesson Plan Builder.
    • If you have already submitted Lesson Plans you may click the link "View" and edit your portfolio of submitted lesson plans.
    • Currently, to attach documents (e.g., template or an illustrated example in MS Word, Excel, PDF) you must click "Create/Save" and return to the User Management page to attach the document.
