Preparing Educators to be 21st Century e-Teachers An invitation to partner on piloting an innovative professional development program
If you're seriously seeking to revise or adopt a professional development program to transform teaching then we want to work with you. We are launching a new initiative through our community relations effort to help prepare educators to build their project-focused, technology enabled teaching skills. 21st Century e-Teacher is a free licensed offering that includes online courses that can be customized to meet local/regional training needs and criteria. We are piloting the implementation of the first course with several University and school partners across North America. We are interested in building partnerships for adoption and suggest the following background information for your consideration. WHO: State or local educational authority or organization responsible for providing programs or services that support teachers in developing their skills to use technology in an integrated and effective manner in their classrooms. Interested institutions will designate participant(s) to be engaged in a pilot offering of Course 1 of 21st Century e-Teacher. Your representative(s) (may be a teacher or administrator) will be enrolled in a small cohort with other educators who will actively participate in the Course to evaluate it for adoption/distribution with your audience.
